  “过去讲的粮食只是狭隘地理解为就是水稻、小麦、玉米等禾本科作物。现在讲的粮食即食物,大粮食观念替代了以粮为纲的旧观念。”

  这是《摆脱贫困》一书中的一段话,作者是彼时担任福建宁德地委书记的习近平。

  1990年,习近平就用“大粮食观念”阐释农业发展观念需要转变。30多年过去,中国经济社会发展历经巨变,习近平总书记对于大食物观的思考也更加深邃。

  什么是大食物观?观察中国人的餐桌便可读懂。

  三餐四季,南米北面,大食物观,首先是要端牢饭碗。

  中国14亿多人口,每天要消耗70万吨粮、9.8万吨油、192万吨菜和23万吨肉。

  “一旦农业出问题,饭碗被人拿住,看别人脸色吃饭,还谈什么现代化建设?”习近平曾以此警示粮食安全之于大国发展的特殊重要性。

  手中有粮、心中不慌,在任何时候都是真理。尤其当下,全球面临粮食危机凸显等多重挑战情况下,端牢中国人的饭碗有着更深远的意义。

  今年3月,习近平在湖南考察期间再次强调,粮食安全必须靠我们自己保证,中国人的饭碗应该主要装中国粮。

  截至2023年,中国粮食生产已实现“二十连丰”,今年全国两会期间,中国再次定下“粮食产量1.3万亿斤以上”的年度目标。

  如今中国人的餐桌上,主食不“主”、副食不“副”的饮食特征越发凸显,而大食物观,既强调管饱,更注重管好。

  “老百姓的食物需求更加多样化了,这就要求我们转变观念”,2017年12月,习近平在中央农村工作会议上谈到,向耕地草原森林海洋、向植物动物微生物要热量、要蛋白,全方位多途径开发食物资源。

  的确,解决吃饭问题,不能光盯着有限的耕地,而是要把思路打开。

  2022年全国两会期间,习近平谈到,在确保粮食供给的同时,保障肉类、蔬菜、水果、水产品等各类食物有效供给,缺了哪样也不行。

  在当年的中央农村工作会议上,他更形象地解释道,“吃饭”不仅仅是消费粮食,肉蛋奶、果菜鱼、菌菇笋等样样都是美食,并以此强调“要构建多元化食物供给体系”。

  当然,无论是吃得饱,还是吃得好,大食物观,归根到底是为了餐桌旁的人,是坚持以人民为中心的发展理念。

  近年来的基层考察中,习近平关切田间地头的农业产业化,更关心种地农民的生活幸福感。

  在广东东海岛上看海水养殖,他谈到,提高我们国民的身体素质,把水产搞上去,把蛋白质搞上去很重要。

  在山东枣庄的石榴种植园里,他要求,要做好品牌、提升品质,延长产业链,增强产业市场竞争力和综合效益,带动更多乡亲共同致富。

  在广西来宾察看制糖工艺时,他对企业员工们说,食糖是重要的副食品,大家为此辛勤劳动,为千家万户送去了“甜蜜”。

  去年年底召开的中央经济工作会议要求,树立大农业观、大食物观,把农业建成现代化大产业。三个月后,在湖南考察期间,习近平再次强调,“坚持大农业观、大食物观,积极发展特色农业和农产品加工业,提升农业产业化水平。”

  14亿多张嘴要吃饭,这是中国的国情。咫尺餐桌,一头连着千家万户,一头连着广袤山河。柴米油盐,一日三餐,既是家事,也是国事。
